In Memory of

George William Carr
Oct. 24, 1909 - June 21, 1991

Most of the digital images displayed on this site were taken at the George Carr art exhibit held at the Harrisburg Public Library in January, 2000, and were contributed to this site by Harry and Dorothy Boyd of Marion, Illinois.
Because most of the photos were taken at angles to avoid flash glare, some distortion was inevitable. Where the angle was not too great, the images have been cropped from their original frames and placed in green mat frames for this presentation.
We do not have a complete list of the titles of the paintings nor the names of owners. A partial list is provided below, though no individual owner names are included for privacy reasons.
Persons who would like to contribute additional digital images of George Carr's work for inclusion in this gallery, or provide additional information on any of these paintings, are invited to email the
webmaster@heritech.com.
