THE SEA WITCH/ANGELMAN FORUM – Launched May 9th, 2009!
WELCOME TO THE NEW FORUM We're trying it again folks, with new software. Hope this works out better than our first forum, which was totally swamped, and finally sunk, by spam. Talk about being boarded and overwhelmed by pirates!! We'll be keeping our fingers crossed that we won't be swamped again. We only have one rule... RULE ONE: (Re. User Name) When you register on the forum, please use your own name or your boat's name. Alternately, use a word that is obviously associated with boats, the sea, or anything nautical. (Examples: Long John, Marlin Spike, Fid, Topmast, Boot-top, etc.) This will greatly assist the administrator in differentiating between legitimate members and spammers, so we can quickly spot and weed out interlopers. Obvious pirates, spammers, and unwanted venders, will be removed without notice as soon as they are noticed. "Questionables" (i.e., people who apparently use their own name or a possible boat name, that we do not recognize), will be removed (also without notice), if they have not posted anything to introduce themselves within ten days. For example, user names like "mydarling" or "My Dream" could be boat names, but could also be indicative of something else entirely.
